Support for Children & Teens
I work with:
Children experiencing anxiety, worries, or big emotions
Teenagers struggling with confidence, self-criticism, or school pressure
Neurodivergent children, including autism

Sessions are tailored to each child’s needs, pace, and strengths, with parent collaboration where helpful. If you are looking for child counselling in Mount Gambier or adolescent support in the Limestone Coast, you are welcome to get in touch. I am also running a limited group session for 8-10 year olds. The details of the next one are below, and bookable from the booking page:
What to expect in your first session
Your first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what has been going on for you.
There is no pressure to share anything you are not comfortable with, and we will move at a pace that feels safe for you.
Many people feel nervous before their first counselling session — this is completely normal.
Therapy Dog Support – Dobby 🐾
For children who may benefit from additional comfort, sessions can be supported by Dobby, my gentle toy cavoodle therapy dog.
Many children find it easier to relax and open up when an animal is present. Dobby helps reduce anxiety, support emotional regulation, and make sessions feel more approachable. Interaction is always optional and guided by the child’s comfort.
NDIS Participants
Limestone Coast Counselling accepts NDIS participants under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living. Sessions can support emotional wellbeing, anxiety, emotional regulation and life challenges. Please contact me if you would like to discuss NDIS referrals or support options.
